When Art Goes Wrong

This is a digital print on textiles that didn’t work. I was working on it just before dinner. It was a pale image so I printed it on black in the hope it would bring out the colours. Instead only the glue has adhered and then only partially.

When Art goes wrong don’t panic and don’t discard the idea immediately.

I’m going to edit the map of Australia so much of it is black and print on a pale fabric and keep printing until I have one that adheres completely. I’m out of practice with digital prints and since trial and error is what provides a sense of when it will have adhered properly – it may take more than one trial.
